Dr. Leigh Damkohler completed her undergraduate degree at Manhattanville College in Purchase, New York. After working several years in business and marketing, she attended the Swedish Institute of Health and Allied Sciences where she graduated as a licensed massage therapist. She advanced her studies as a therapist taking various courses including trigger point and craniosacral therapies. With her ongoing desire to help people heal, Leigh departed from the corporate world to attend the University of Bridgeport College of Chiropractic (UBCC). While at UBCC, Leigh was inducted into the Phi Kappa Phi honor society and graduated Summa Cum Laude with her Doctor of Chiropractic degree. Dr. Damkohler currently lives with her family in Westchester County, New York.
Dr. David Rich earned both bachelors and masters degrees at Iona College in New Rochelle, New York. He worked as a private investigator and coordinated independent medical examinations, opinions with physicians for five years as he completed his prerequisites for Chiropractic school. He was accepted into University of Bridgeport College of Chiropractic where he complete his Doctorate of Chiropractic and graduated with academic honors, Cum Laude. Dr. Rich is also an adjunct professor at The State University of New York at Valhalla NY where he teaches anatomy and physiology to allied healthcare students. Dr. Rich is a resident of Fairfield County, CT where he lives with his family.
Dr. Astrid Monsalve-Smith is a first generation Colombian-American. She is a Chiropractor who was born in Norwalk and raised in Norwalk and Wilton, CT. She graduated from the Wilton High School and continued her higher education at Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. where she graduated in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. After working in the pharmaceutical industry for five years, Astrid entered the University of Bridgeport, College of Chiropractic, where she was inducted into the honor society of Phi Kappa Phi and graduated Summa Cum Laude. Her aptitude for her chosen branch of medicine, motivated her to establish her practice in downtown Norwalk. Astrid’s parents came to the United States of America hoping to provide their family with more opportunities for success. Her parents are proud to see their hopes and sacrifices realized as Astrid excels in all her life endeavors. Dr. Monsalve-Smith lives will her family in Fairfield County.
